Card data: All cards display Card identity number name and photograph. The holder’s main occupation and up to five additional occupations in which the holder is certified are shown on the card front, together with appropriate JIB Grade (where applicable);   The holder’s signature, together with the route by which certification has been achieved  are printed on the back - additional vocational holders qualifications (such as 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations) may be printed where these are held.

Who should apply:

Those who are over 27 years old and hold an appropriate qualification (Degree, HNC/HND etc.) or have previously qualified as a Datacomms Technician, and be able to demonstrate the additional skills required. Must be suitably skilled to carry out the design, specification, estimation and documentation of large scale data or telecoms projects; must be able to demonstrate extensive knowledge of appropriate European Directives and British, European and World standards.
