Card data: All cards display Card identity number name and photograph.  The holder’s main occupation and up to five additional occupations in which the holder is certified are shown on the card front, together with appropriate JIB Grade (where applicable);   The holder’s signature, together with the route by which certification has been achieved  are printed on the back - additional vocational holders qualifications (such as 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations) may be printed where these are held.

Who should apply:

Skilled workers, capable of carrying out the following tasks or duties in an autonomous and competent manner and within the allotted time:

  • survey and design a security/emergency system
  • maintain effective working relationships
  • make plans and arrangements for work on site
  • prepare a tender/quotation for the provision and maintenance of a basic security/emergency system
  • negotiate sales
  • solve problems on behalf of customers
  • make sales presentations to existing and potential customers
