Card data: All cards display Card identity number name and photograph.  The holder’s main occupation and up to five additional occupations in which the holder is certified are shown on the card front, together with appropriate JIB Grade (where applicable);   The holder’s signature, together with the route by which certification has been achieved  are printed on the back - additional vocational holders qualifications (such as 17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations) may be printed where these are held.

Who should apply:

Those undertaking an appropriate course of training leading to qualification as a Datacomms Specialist. The training should be of not less than 2 years’ duration if the candidate has no previous industrial experience, but can be of a shorter duration if the candidate is over 20 and has other relevant experience:
