The Datacomms Manager is typically responsible for complex infrastructure projects, particularly in the datacentre environment, with a focus on pure project management activities. The role will include the management of customer relationships, through routine briefings and project meetings and the workforce, to complete the project. The role includes monitoring and maintaining project progress with effective risk management and issue resolution.

Who Should Apply:

The Datacomms Manager must have met the requirements of  the Certified Telecommunications Project Manager (CTPM) with at least 3 years’ experience.
 
Eligibility & Requirements


To be eligible for an ECS Datacomms Manager (CTPM) card, applicants must meet the following criteria:
 
  • Provide a detailed employer reference, confirming experience in project management
– and –
  • BTEC Level 4 Professional Award - Certified Telecommunications Project Manager (CTPM)
– and –
  • Hold a current (up-to-date) Health & Safety Certificate or recognised H&S qualification. For details visit the ECS H&S Assessment page.
