A Broadcast and Media Technician is qualified to vocational standard at level 3 in supporting the delivery of broadcast and communication services. They are responsible for preparing the technical assembly and set up for broadcast and communications systems and for providing support to the Broadcast and Media Systems Technicians and Engineers including temporary power systems in line with BS7909.
To be eligible for the Broadcast and Media Technician ECS card, applicants must:
1. Have successfully completed a Level 3 apprenticeship or equivalent (or above), such as the Level 3 Broadcast and Media Systems Technical Operator apprenticeship standard
