The network infrastructure apprentice card recognises the level 3 Network Infrastructure Apprenticeship Standard (the Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship) is being completed.
The apprentice must be completing the network infrastructure apprenticeship standard that leads to the network infrastructure endpoint assessment.
Apprentices are supervised through their training programme and complete under pinning knowledge and performance assessments prior to their final network infrastructure endpoint assessment.
Eligibility and requirements
To be eligible for the network infrastructure apprentice card, applicants must provide evidence of:
- The industry level 3 Apprenticeship Standard (the Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship) training programme being undertaken and
- Hold a current ECS Health, Safety and Environmental Assessment (there are no exemptions that can be used when applying for this card).
