SLL Lighting Professional card recognises the membership requirements for the Society of Light and Lighting (SLL).
Lighting engineers must be able to demonstrate that they have specialist knowledge and experience through their SLL membership to be eligible for this card and have successfully met the qualification criteria for the card below.
Alternatively, SLL members may apply for the ECS Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) standard card.
Eligibility and requirements
To be eligible for the Society of Light and Lighting SLL Lighting Professional ECS card, applicants must:
1. Be a an Associate Member, Member or Fellow of the Society of Light and Lighting.
2. Hold the ECS Electrical Safety assessment.
3. Hold a current ECS Health, Safety and Environmental Assessment (no health and safety qualification exemptions are permitted for this card). For details visit the ECS H&S Assessment page.
