The ECS Vehicle Installer card is for individuals working in the after-market vehicle installer industry for various types of conversions and adaptations to vehicles. Individuals working on construction sites and other projects across the UK in regulated environments who install electrical equipment can be certified to meet the industry agreed standards as a Vehicle Installer.
The Association of Vehicle Installers (AVI) offers an IMI accredited training and development programme for this area as the Accredited Installer Foundation Course.
Eligibility and requirements
To be eligible for an ECS Vehicle Installer card, applicants must meet the following criteria:
