To be eligible for the Experienced Worker Assessment, you will need to have worked in the electrical industry for at least five years and preferably have completed relevant electrical theory training.
This programme is not for new entrants or people who have just finished their training.
To compete the Experienced Worker Qualification you must:
- provide written and verbal evidence, which can be independently verified, to an assessor at a professional interview.
- complete the industry independent assessment of occupational competence - the AM2E - provided by industry charity National Electrotechnical Training.
- provide current site-based evidence to demonstrate you can comply with the qualification requirements. This will be done via a site-visit where an assessor views you at work and is provided with verifiable witness testimonies.
