The JIB Mature Candidate Assessment has been replaced by the Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Assessment.

The new qualification and assessment route is available from both City & Guilds and EAL awarding organisations. Centres will need to meet the awarding organisations criteria for delivering the new qualification.

The JIB Mature Candidate Assessment will be closed for new registration from the summer of 2020 with a final certification date for delegates on the scheme expected to be during 2022. Existing JIB Mature Candidate Assessment will need to contact their chosen awarding organisation awarding organisation for details.

All training provider are still able to join the JIB Training Provider scheme. The scheme allows training providers to offer the ECS HS&E assessment and to order some ECS cards for their students.
