ECA’s Luke Osborne is trekking the Inca Trail for EIC

03 March 22

In September, Luke Osborne, the ECA’s Energy and Emerging Technologies Solutions Advisor, will be trekking the Inca Trail to raise money for the Electrical Industries Charity (EIC). This fundraiser, like many others, has been set back for the past two years due to Covid.

The electrical and energy industries suffer some of the highest suicide rates and levels of mental illness, in comparison to other sectors. The EIC works hard to offer a range of support to these industries, including legal advice, mental health support, bereavement support and support for those with a terminal illness as well as helping individuals following redundancy and debt advice. It has been supporting your industry for over 100 years.

Every penny helps…but pounds are better obviously. If you can support the EIC through Luke's fundraising activity, you will be helping to ensure that the right help and support gets to a person who needs it. Luke’s target is £5,000 but is hoping to exceed this.

If you would like some great photos with your company’s logo set against the backdrop of the iconic Peruvian Citadel (great for social media and comms), a £1,000 donation will get a flag produced with your logo on it. This will then be held high with the beautiful Macchu Pichu and stunning scenery in the background, but any donations are appreciated.
