ECS & JIB join engaging panel on skills for a low carbon future at Smart Buildings Show

31 August 22

With just over one month to go, Smart Buildings Show, the UK’s only dedicated Smart Buildings exhibition and conference, has launched its dynamic conference programme which is a must-attend event in the industry.

JIB and ECS are delighted to return as exhibitors to the show on 12-13 October at London’s ExCeL. What’s more, Andy Reakes, Head of Growth for the JIB and ECS will be part of a compelling panel discussion on the subject of ‘Why the industry needs to work together now to address the issues of the future’ and it promises to be one not to miss.

It’s no secret that the industry faces a turbulent time with the latest catastrophic rise in energy prices and the current skills shortage which the industry is facing. The panel aims to address some of these challenges and will discuss why now, more than ever, it is vital to work together to help shape the industry going forward while underlining how training and ongoing development is key to enabling the growth of the next generation via apprenticeships and T Levels.

Andy will be joined by BCIA President Graeme Rees, Peter Behan of Group Horizon, Jen Vickers from Crown House Technologies and Wendy Belfield from InTandem Systems.

The panel discussion takes place on Wednesday 12 October 13:00 – 13:45 in the Controls Theatre.

The JIB/ECS will be on stand on A25 over the two day show to answer all of your questions.
