Fraudulent Websites Notice

12 March 26

ECS-Homepage-Screenshot-(1).pngPlease be aware that fraudsters are publishing copycat websites to scam current and aspiring ECS cardholders. They are reproducing our genuine logos, text, images and links and are even setting up telephone call centres.

Scammers may telephone you or contact you via email, text or social media. They may ask you for money and gain access to your personal data.

You may also see fraudulent accounts offering to supply ECS cards and certificates on social media – including TikTok, Facebook and WhatsApp. These sites are looking to take your money. On the rare occasion a card or certificate is supplied, this will be quickly identified as fraudulent via the electronic verification systems in place – such as ECS Check and CSCS Smart Check.

Information on fraudulent activity is passed to the relevant teams within ECS and the CSCS Alliance. If you would like to report a suspected scam please email: scams@ecscard.org.uk.

The genuine ECS web address is printed on the back of all ECS cards. We ask that you familiarise yourself with the appearance of the home page (see image at top) and other key areas of our website. Access and bookmark the ECS website homepage here.
