The JIB and ECS will be in attendance at UK Construction Week at ExCeL, London, 2-4 May 2023.
On Wednesday 3rd May, Jay Parmar, Chief Executive of the JIB and Chair of the CSCS Alliance, will join Sean Kearns, Chief Executive of the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS), in the CPD Hub at 12.15 pm to discuss raising standards and safety in construction.
The CSCS Alliance is the collective voice of the 38 card schemes displaying the CSCS logo, representing not just the traditional construction trades but the many specialist occupations across the built environment. This session will introduce the role of the CSCS Alliance and the positive impact it is having on improving standards, safety and competence across the industry as well as helping construction to develop insight in support of the current and future workforce.
Andy Reakes, JIB Director of Growth and Development, will also be in attendance on the CSCS Alliance stand (B133) to promote CSCS Smart Check, the app launched in April 2022 and designed to improve site safety and card-checking procedures on UK construction sites.
