City & Guilds, in partnership with Shell, is offering a limited opportunity for six ECS gold card Electricians to join the exclusive EV Charging Shell sponsored training taking pace in London. With Shell UK’s goal of 100,000 rapid EV charge points across the country by 2030, this program addresses the skills shortage and supports the UK's Net Zero target.
Installing high voltage EV chargers requires specialised technical training, and Shell is committed to empowering the workforce for a fair and inclusive transition. By successfully completing this training program, participants will attain a recognised UK regulated qualification- the Level 3 Award in the Installation and Maintenance of Largescale Electric Vehicle Charging Installations from City & Guilds, providing them with a competitive edge and numerous prospects within the UK's expanding commercial EV Charging infrastructure.
Don't miss this chance to be at the forefront of the EV charging revolution. Qualified Electricians with a valid gold card can apply now for City & Guilds' Shell sponsored course and secure your place in shaping a greener, more sustainable future.
*Interested individuals should submit their interest for the City & Guilds EV training to competition@ecscard.org.uk and reference ‘City and Guilds’ Shell EV Training’ before Thursday 13 July 2023 middnight. The 6x winners of the London-based sponsored training will be selected through a random generator and contacted directly.
