Smart Buildings Show 2024 – last few days to register

27 September 24

There is not long to go until Smart Buildings Show 2024 on 9-10 October, so don’t miss your chance to register for free attendance here. Last year more than 2,000 attendees came together to hear from 70+ expert speakers and share the latest knowledge and technology with their peers.

This year builds on this success with four theatres – each offering a programme of thought- provoking content:
•    The Energy Management Theatre will share best practice in the sector and enhance your ability to make the right energy decisions for the future.
•    The Controls & Network Theatre will look at physical devices in smart buildings, including building controls, energy efficiency, BEMS, sensors, shading and lighting.
•    The IT & Infrastructure Theatre will highlight the efficient use of existing infrastructure plus explore how we build the infrastructure of tomorrow.
•    The Management & Proptech Theatre will explore how a smart building is managed and operated, including facility management, workplace software, advanced security solutions, sector analysis and market information.

Event director Ian Garmeson said: “We are very excited by what’s in store at this year’s conference programme, which contains a diverse range of topics and speakers – including panel debates featuring leading experts in their respective fields.”

JIB and ECS will be exhibiting on stand A29 to share the benefits of JIB membership and the latest news about ECS. Come and see us to find out more about the BEMS Controls Engineer Experienced Worker Assessment (EWA) launched earlier this year. Training provider Group Horizon worked alongside ECS and the Building Controls industry Association (BCIA) to deliver this vital solution for tradespeople in the sector. EWAs provide a route for those who did not have the opportunity to complete a formal apprenticeship or vocational assessment, but have gained the necessary knowledge and skills from many years’ experience in the industry.

Andy Reakes, Director of Growth and Development at ECS and JIB said: “Smart Buildings Show showcases innovation and solutions particularly relevant to people working in the electrotechnical sector. It is always an important date in the JIB’s calendar and we look forward to seeing you there.”
