Assessments taken using the ECS Remote Invigilation system passed the milestone number of 50,000 in 2023 demonstrating the continued demand from candidates for this convenient and timesaving option.
Initially launched in 2021 to provide ECS Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) assessments during Covid-19 restrictions, the system has since been expanded to offer technical assessments across Fire and Security, Network Infrastructure, Electrical Safety and Building Controls. State of the art technology ensures robust invigilation of candidates and user experience has been improved by ongoing upgrades with enhanced help and guidance.
Demand for this simpler, quicker and more cost-effective format has continued to rise into 2024. About 75% of all assessments are now undertaken by remote invigilation via MyECS or through Employer set up.
In-centre assessment is still available for those who prefer this and venues can be found here. Employers also have the option to manage and set up assessments for their staff, and some training providers offer assessments to their learners.
